A third time client to Transitions Birth Doulas, Lori had the absolute pleasure of supporting this couple throughout their pregnancy into their 42nd week. Surprisingly, after having her first two children within a day of her due date, this baby decided to hold off until 42 weeks, and make a mad dash with a two hour labor and with less than 10 minutes of pushing before she was birthed in the water.
It was a very intense labor for this mom, but everyone was elated to welcome a baby girl to the family! Christina was mom's second HBAC (homebirth after cesarean) and joins her parents, as well as two older brothers!
