What a Valentine's surprise for this family! After much patience and hard work, baby Porter was born on Valentine's Day at 11:30am via cesarean section. Mom and dad were originally planning a VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean), and after her membranes had been released for a couple of days, and a labor that was on and off for a couple of days, we went to the hospital to find that the baby was breech! Surprise!! This was the reason for her first cesarean as well, but this time, she feels like she did everything she could to prepare differently, and is overall pleased with her experience. She gave her body and baby a chance to labor, gave herself the time that she felt comfortable with after her membrane's released, and has a beautiful 6 pound, 6 ounce baby boy :)! Congratulations!!
